By signing up as a WILD CHILD you are not just joining a club, you’re signing up to a fun and exciting way to learn more about Tasmania’s amazing wildlife and helping to protect native animals. The Wild Child Kids Club is for children between the ages of four and fourteen who are interested in all sorts of ways they can help our native animals and unleash the wild child within.

Members of the kids club receive free entry to the park as many times as they like for a year!

What they will learn:

1. What to do with a newly rescued joey;
2. Basic Animal First Aid;
3. Prevention is better than cure;
4. How to be a Wildlife Ranger in your own backyard;
5. Making your backyard a wildlife haven;
6. How to understand animals sounds and behaviours;
7. What endangered animals Tasmania has and what they can do to help them;
8. Responsible pet ownership;
9. Animal Tracking;
10. Pest Watch;

The program is the first of its kind in Tasmania.  Our aim is to educate as many kids as possible, so the cost of an annual membership is minimal and would make a great birthday or Christmas present.  The cost is $36 per year
